CE Marking Requirements
Affix CE markings is a prerequisite that a majority of products enter European Union market, as well as one of the important measures taken by every member of European Union for purpose of establishing a single European market. No matter where the products are originally produced, CE marking must be affixed to them as long as they are sold and brought into use in European Union. According to 1957 Treaty of Rome of European Communities and 1998 Amsterdam Treaty, all members of European Union shall as per directives allow the products stuck with CE markings to enter their markets in the condition of putting forward no additional requirements. Requirements on CE markings have so far covered 34 countries and regions.    

Accreditation Scope
If an enterprise needs to attach CE markings to its products, the products shall meet all requirements of relevant directives.  Among the effective and implemented directives of European Union, machinery directive, outdoor noise directive, pressure equipment directive, low voltage directive, electromagnetic compatibility directive and communication terminal directive covered a majority of products exported from China. BCTC has so far obtained the following qualifications:
