KC Certification Process

Safety Certification Testing


shall be conducted by KTL within its premises in principle. However, testing can be conducted at the manufacturing cites for the following cases

	1)	When a subjected testing sample is too big or heavy, so it is difficult to be shipped into the KC lab. (only if the relevant testing facilities are available at the manufacturing cite or the facilities can be shipped into the cite);

	2)	When testing equipment or a facility is available only in a manufacturing cite.

Factory Inspection
For obtaining the Safety Certification, subjected factory shall take an Initial Factory Inspection before the certificate is issued, and Routine Factory Inspection shall be taken annually to maintain the certification after the certificate is issued.
