State Administration for Market Regulation Announcement of Optimizing Compulsory Product Certification Catalogue
In order to further deepen the reform of compulsory product certification system, the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People’s Republic of China (CNCA) merged and optimized some product categories in the catalogue according to the adjustment of previous compulsory product certification catalogues without altering the implementation scope of compulsory product certification. The optimized catalogue of compulsory product certification consists of 17 categories and 103 products, which are hereby announced.
In order to facilitate all relevant parties to accurately define the scope of the Compulsory Product Certification Catalogue, CNCA revised the Description and Definition Table of Compulsory Product Certification Catalogue on April 21st 2020. and published it together. The Announcement of CNCA on Issuing the Description and Definition Table of Compulsory Product Certification Catalogue (CNCA Announcement No.45 of 2014) shall be abolished at the same time.
